
Mission: Get more youngsters interested in engineering
Together with our sister companies we’ve created a campaign in three parts: Via a Facebook movie, a television program and a site we show all avaiable career paths and inspire future engineers to take the first step.
The campaign is aimed at students in junior high and high school and the goal is to provide an inspiring view of all the exciting possibilities that appear after an engineering degree. No matter where you are going in life, it's smart to choose a road that gives many choices. As an engineer you can work with almost anything, anywhere in the world.
Tobias Eriksson, project leader at Teknikföretagen:
- For many years we’ve worked on changing people’s attitudes towards the engineering profession. Through our new campaign, including the television program Felix stör en ingenjör as well as the interactive movie The Smart And The Curious, we reach out with engineering in a positive context that engages and creates curiosity. The campaign site Ingenjörsvägen.se takes the curiosity further with more information.
That there is a generational change under way among Swedish engineers becomes clear in the TV program Felix stör en ingenjör. Our sister company DFM've sent Felix Herngren to visit young engineers around the world. The aim is to show all the choices you have as an engineer.
The Smart And The Curious
In the Facebook-movie The Smart And The Curious you play the leading role. The story is created using the information in your Facebook-profile. Even your friends show up, and that makes it natural to spread the film through your social network.
Ingenjörsvägen.se
Ingenjörsvägen.se is the obvious choice for anyone who is curious about the engineering profession, technical education and career opportunities. On this site students as well as student counselors will find all necessary information, presented in an encouraging way.

- The overall goal of this initiative is to make it easier for Swedish engineering companies in their long-term recruitment. Together with Britny we have created a digital concept that’s entertaining, informative and honest. They have understood our challenge and, as usual, done an incredible job.
