The countdown to Elitloppet has begun!
Elitloppet is Swedish trotting’s biggest sport event and every year fans travel to Solvalla to see the world's best trot horses compete for the coveted trophy. Along with Solvalla Britny is proud to launch Elitloppet.se.
Elitloppet.se is based on a day-by-day countdown to the race that takes place on 25th of May. While counting down the page will fill up with all the essential information necessary for the race. The 16 invited horses and their drivers will be presented in detail and through the page's blog, visitors will be able to access other useful information.
Britny has had overall responsibility for the design and development of the site which means that we have developed the idea / concept, design and technological development. The page is built in WordPress and the idea is to use a similar design for the blog as the one Tumblr uses.
Elitloppet is not only is the event of the year for equestrian sports in Sweden, but also a nice event that many look forward with great anticipation. In addition to meeting all the informal needs the purpose of the site was also to encourage visitors who literally are counting the days until the event and excite them with more activities and events to enjoy, says Art Director Daniel Stridsberg.
